How long does each session last?

Workouts are one hour long including both your warm-up and cool-down activities. The ideal workout duration is at least 30 minutes for moderate-intensity exercise, which is achieved in the main body of the session.

Do I have to exercise alone?

Working up a sweat is much more enjoyable when you’ve got company, so I am happy to train with pairs or small groups of friends. However, as the prices above are per person, be aware that more people will increase the overall cost of the personal trainer session.

Do I need any specialist equipment?

Most of the exercises I recommend are possible at home, without the need for specialised equipment. Occasionally I may recommend an activity which requires props, such as weights or an exercise mat – these are recommendations only, and it is down to you as the individual to decide if you want, or are able, to purchase the suggested equipment. Conversely, if you already own several items of fitness equipment and would like advice and training on how to use them, or would like me to incorporate them into your regime, then I can do so.

Can I book a regular time slot?

Absolutely – it’s easier for me to keep track of who I’m seeing on each day, and makes it easier for you to commit to, as your lifestyle fits around the same event each week. However, you can also book fortnightly or monthly sessions if you’d prefer.

If you can’t make an appointment for whatever reason, please let me know as soon as possible so I can offer the time slot to someone else and rearrange your session promptly.
