What is Sports Massage?
The title may give the impression it is only
for sports professionals but this is not true. Sports massage can help anyone who
is suffering from a condition that limits what they do to function normally.
Massage,
in general, is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. Taking in to consideration,
almost all dysfunction involves a soft tissue element. Any illness or condition with
a degree of pain results in tension in the muscles which can then affect our posture
and movement.
So anyone who has any tension or muscular pain can benefit from sports
massage.
